When the Going Gets Tough...

So many experiences on the Camino become metaphors for your whole life, or teach you truths you take with you for a lifetime. When the walking got super tough from St.Jean Pied-de-Port to Roncesvalles we looked for beauty somewhere in something or someone to keep us going. Not just the stunning beauty in nature, but also the beauty of kindness from a fellow pilgrim, or a smile and encouraging word when struggling up a steep ascent. When you are open to it, you can receive it. This is true whether you are walking the Camino or going through a different kind of hardship. God never leaves us without comfort.

We are still processing and enjoying the experiences from our recent time on the Camino, because once again God did not disappoint us with the beauty we encountered. Enjoy the photos and videos posted today here and on Instagram and FaceBook.

They have had opportunities to make many more trips to research routes, test gear, and volunteer along The Way. They continue making new trips, and like helping others make the trip of a lifetime.
